What started as one more reason to love Parks and Recreation’s Leslie Knope, has become a very real holiday in the hearts and minds of the feminist set. So to celebrate Galentines Day 2020, I joined forces with Aisha Hakim and The Fellow App to give women in Adland the chance to show some love to their mentors, partners and workplace BFFs. After turning to Twitter for help, we assembled a talented team of eight young ladies, and launched Forget Her Not, a card-sending campaign that targeted mailboxes, inboxes and Insta-Stories with femme-forward messages of thanks and appreciation.
We generated a lot of press and a lot of support from our industry’s lady luminaries. But most importantly, we generated a lot of love: with over 1,200 women sending e-cards to the women who have helped them along the way.

show her some love
This dreamy project started with Galentine card concepts. Aisha and I provided headlines, a color palette, and visual guidance to Steph Zmuda, Lauren Meadows, Alexia Korte, Emily Kurek, Jess Mendez, Alyssa Lee and Erika Mackley, who helped us make these cards truly crush-worthy.
real mail is the best mail
These designs begged to be printed, so we sent printed cards to top lady leaders across North America. And because we wanted as many women as possible to feel the love, we built a site where women could email a card to the deserving women in their work lives.
love-bomb her inbox
tag a gal pal
In honor of our team’s Twitter hook up, we created an Instagram Stories template and encouraged Fellow’s followers to make it their own by tagging a friend and using stickers to fill-in-the-blanks.
